talkSPORT to broadcast rugby’s Autumn Nations Series for the first time with New Zealand, Australia and South Africa Tests to come

Starting on October 30, talkSPORT will broadcast rugby’s Autumn Nations Series for the first time ever on the network. Coverage will include 50 exclusive matches to broadcast over the next three years, with a top team of rugby talent.

The new audio rights follow talkSPORT’s coverage of the Lions tour this summer, as the players head back to their specific countries to compete in the internationals being held across the UK, Ireland, France and Italy.

Across the 16 live commentary matches this autumn, the coverage will be delivered by a top class team team who have amassed almost 400 caps between them, including former England Forward Ben Kay, England Women’s international Rachel Burford, Wales’ second highest all time try scorer, George North, Scotland’s all time highest points scorer, Chris Paterson MBE, and Ireland hero Gordon D'Arcy.

They will be alongside presenters Hugh Woozencroft, Craig Doyle, Tim Cocker and Shebahn Aherne with live commentary from talkSPORT’s Andrew Mckenna, Channel 4 Rugby Commentator, Miles Harrison, Alfie Reynolds, Russell Hargreaves and Stuart McFarlane.

There will be plenty of tailored content across the month for all rugby fans to enjoy. Along with the live commentary matches, in depth previews will be available on the flagship talkSPORT shows, along with YouTube content, tailored towards the tournament, as well as informative and interesting articles and blogs on the talkSPORT website.
